Het Danskwartier Den Haag opens in September 2017. Janine van den Heuvel Damen will then take over the dance school from Joke van der Kraan. The dance school is located in the Statenkwartier in The Hague.
A good atmosphere, personal contact, lots of dance pleasure and working on a good dance technique are important to us in our lessons. Only graduate professional dance teachers work in the dance school. In this way we teach in a responsible way and we can bring students further in their dance.
In addition to the lessons, Het Danskwartier Den Haag also offers the opportunity to gain stage experience. For example, a performance is organized at least once every two years in a real theater.
Dancing is great! Our mission is to make everyone feel that! Once infected with the 'dance virus' you will always love it. To make everyone enjoy dance a lot is what we love doing the most.
We offer dance lessons from young to old and in different dance styles. View the range in the schedule.
"Dance with your heart and your feet will follow!"

“My name is Kirsten van Tol and at a young age I was allowed to take ballet lessons. What started with one hour quickly expanded to several hours of dance a week and also into various styles, including: modern, urban and American tap
In 2015 I completed the transition class preparatory course and then I started with the Bachelor of Dance in Education, both at Codarts, Dance academy Rotterdam. Since graduating in 2019 I have been working as a dance teacher at various dance schools and in (special) primary education.
In order to keep developing myself, I regularly follow courses and training, including the Progressing Ballet Technique course, to be able to specify the ballet technique and offer it in different ways.
In my classes we discover, research and develop together. How does dance work in your body and how do you enjoy dance as a person.
I look forward to sharing my passion with the students!”
