Selectie

(After successful audition)

-Do you have dance experience and are you between 11-17 years old?
-Do you love to dance streetjazz?

-Do you have 100% commitment and motivation to train very hard every week?

-Do you enjoy performing?

THEN WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU!

The Danskwartier Den Haag selection group includes talented dancers who are passionate about dance.

We work extensively on choreography for performances.

The selection group will be the first to be used for performances throughout the year.

In addition to the selection training, you will dance at least one additional class per week.

Each year, the selection group is reassessed based on their dance quality, charisma, motivation, and their availability for performances.

Selectie Team Rules:

-You are present at every lesson!!! (Thursday 18.15)

-Only report absence well in advance with good reason.

-You're on time!!

-If you are absent too often without a good reason, you can be removed from the selectie

-If you are unable to attend, you must catch up on the missed material yourself.

-In addition to the training of the competition team, you will train for at least one hour in a regular lesson (preferably modern(jazz) or classical ballet)

-We expect 100% commitment and motivation

Selectie team clothing

During training, you wear the clothing specified in the clothing regulations, black leggings, DKDH t-shirt, black socks, hair tied.
+DKDH Varsity jacket to wear to performances.

Cost:

You get a 15% discount on this 2nd lesson of the week

Please note: Only audition if you can commit to the competition rules. This is not a regular lesson, we are stricter on attendance and expect 100% commitment and motivation.

During the audition we pay attention to dance technique, appearance and commitment.

Please keep in mind that it’s possible you may not be selected for the team. Prepare yourself mentally for this and approach the audition as a fun and valuable workshop where you can show what you’ve got.
